Supported Century & Metric Century

This year's route is the Pozo Century and Almost Pozo Metric Century. The century includes about 4000 feet of climbing, and the metric century has about 3000 feet of climbing.

Paso Roble's Bike Shop Best Bike Zone along with many other volunteers will be on hand to support the Century & Metric Century on Sunday. Both rides include 3 rest stops (one is a lunch stop).

Check out route descriptions and maps here.

Star Farms: A Popular Family Ride

Each year the GWBR arranges with Star Farms to allow GWBR particpants to enjoy this little known gem near Paso Robles.

Dean Porter, proprietor of Star Farms on Estrella Road, has once again opened his beautiful property to the Rally. You are in for quite a treat. Would you believe a lake with a sandy beach complete with tiki huts and a view of an Italian Villa?

How about volleyball or croquet? Maybe a jump on the trampoline? Bring your lunch and your swimming suit and make a outing of it. Cookies and bananas will be available and smoothies are sold from under a palapa. Many riders spend most of their day there. A great place for the kids. 25 miles round trip

Unique Competitions At The Rally

You may have a hidden talent and not even know it. Here is your chance to find out!

Huffy Toss

Show off your muscles and coordination, Yes, this contest is exactly what you think it is. You get 3 tries to toss the huffy, and your distance is measured. We have age groups for men, women and juniors and awards are given.

When? 4 P.M. on Saturday

Track Stand Contest

Some of you practice this skill at a stop light. Well here is your chance to show off your talent in front of spectators. This competition happens during the "Best of Bike Show" and the "Wine and Cheese Social" on Saturday evening.

We would not recommend tasting wine and competing in the Track Stand Contest at the same time, however.

Ultra-Distance Competition

Yes, we have some GWBR participants that really, really like to ride their bike at the Rally and like to compete for the most miles completed. You can sign up for this on Friday night. Awards for men and women and age groups are given.

Yoga at the Rally

After a long day's ride, what is better than doing some yoga?

GWBR Participant Marcey Hogan as graciously agreed to conduct the class again on Saturday from 5 - 6 P.M. in the Special Events Center

GWBR Merchandise Primal Wear

The merchandise this year is really cool! The design and jerseys are made by Primal Wear! On hand we will have jerseys, wind vests, arm warmers, sleeveless jerseys, women's jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts and custom printed t-shirts (design by order).
