Hello Riders,

Well, it is coming down to the wire and we are just about prepared. We have many activities planned and are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

The weather should be great and Paso is as as beautiful as ever. You can look forward to even more great riding, beautiful wineries and wonderful restaurants and stores in downtown Paso, which is only a 1/2 mile walk from the fairgrounds.

Keep on riding and see you soon!

News & Notes

Check out the latest Rally Schedule on the web site. We have many fun activities so take a look!

Bringing an RV? Download this fairground map to locate the hookups when you arrive.

Espresso A Go Go will be on hand to sell regular specialy coffees, smoothies and assorted snacks. You won't have to walk far to get your coffee in the morning!

Vine Street will be under construction. This is a major route out of town for many of our rides. Please use caution. North Street will be closed, so all Rally routes have been changed to avoid the closure. Sorry for the inconvenice!

Oak Tree Parking: If you plan to park in the Oak Tree lot West and across the street from the fairgrounds, please park on the south side. Thanks!

Solaris Grocery Store has new management and has now re-opened. Located on Spring Street, it is the most convenient supermarket to pick up your last minute groceries.

Best of Show Bicycle Competition & Track Stand Contest

As you are roaming around tasting the libations produced in the Paso Robles area, we keep you occupied by asking you to judge of the "Best of Show" Bicycle Competition. Not only can you be a judge, but you can enter your bike in the competition. Bring your bike(s) and enter them in one or more of the following categories: Open, Classic, Tandem, Recumbent. The votes are tallied and the winners announced Sunday evening. New this year is the track stand contest. How long can you keep your balance?

Wine Tasting at the Rally

If you are a wine lover, this is a great opportunity to sample the local fair. Wine orders can be taken from the various vintners. The Rally provides cheese and crackers and other snacks. Other local food delectables (such as olive oil) can be sampled as well. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Wineries coming to the Rally are: Carina Cellars, Donati Family Vineyards and Sylvester Winery and Firestone Winery. We will also have olive oil tasting by Mt. Olive Organic Farm.

Kids Roadeo: Sunday Morning- 9:30am

One of the most gratifying things to watch and for kids to participate in is the Bicycle Roadeo. This is where kids learn the safety and rules of the road. This introduction to bicycling for kids is why we are all here: to get kids out of the house and on to their bicycles!

Check-In and Camping Procedures

Check-in for the Rally will officially start Friday morning at 8am. Those of you coming to camp on Thursday night will be greeted at the front gate and directed where to go. The earliest you will be let into the fairgrounds will be 8am. Any other day, just come to the Rally Headquarters in Commercial Building 2 to pick up your packet and goodie bag. All campers must wear wristsbands at all times.

Please remember that those only wearing a wristband will be allowed to participate in Rally activities. This includes non-riders who accompany riders. You must pay the registration fee to attend any Rally events (Wine and cheese party, bike swap, vendor fair etc)

Volunteer of the Month: Bob Grant
