CAMPING AT THE PASO ROBLES EVENT CENTER (Fairgrounds)
All camping space is on a first come, first served basis. Simply find a spot and make camp. Any and all campers can be accommodated.

Rates: Sunday - Thursday

Individual: $15 / person per night
Family: $35 / family per night.

Camping and RV'ing Information:

Hook-ups for RV's on the fair grounds are available on a first come, first served basis for an additional $20 fee (for the entire weekend). Hook-ups include electricity. Water is not available at all hook-up spots. You are not assigned specific spots and must locate a hook-up when you arrive. Please note: This is not a typical RV park. Camping and RV's are located in open grassy fields and nooks and crannys around the fairground buildings.

Portable Hot Showers

You will be issued a camping ticket indicating the nights of camping purchased. This will be placed in a visible location on your tent/vehicle so that your status as a paid camper can be verified during the weekend. No one will be allowed to camp on the fairgrounds prior to Thursday when the Rally's lease of the grounds commences.

Camping at the Great Western Bicycle Rallly

NEW RV PARK in PASO ROBLES
There is a brand new RV park in Paso Robles only about 2.5 miles from the fairgrounds. This would be a good option for those who can't leave their pets at home. It is the Wine Country RV Resort, 2500 Airport Road, Paso Robles. Call (805) 238-4560 for reservations.

MOTELS/HOTELS
A limited number of motel rooms are available in Paso Robles and many are reserved a year in advance by returning participants. Reserve Early!! However, there are many additional rooms available in the surrounding cities such as San Luis Obispo or Cambria. 25 miles is only a half hour drive each day to and from the Rally and you can shower and change on the fairgrounds if you want to freshen up before the evening's activities without returning to your motel.

The "Official "GWBR Hotels are the Best Western Black Oak Motor Lodge and The Adelaide Inn. They work with us specifically to offer the best prices and are eager to have bicyclists as their guests. Because of the car show in town, they are often booked in advance. However, we do reserve blocks of rooms and you may get a room by letting them know you are with the Great Western Bicycle Rally. Both hotels are located adjacent to the Paso Robles Events Center where the GWBR is located.
